I just got a blue 2016 full fairing CTX today. 2024 Valentine’s Day. Had 5,400 miles. Regular transmission.

Oh wow. That’s awesome. And I agree, it’s a great bike for both beginners and advanced riders. It’s possible that it didn’t sell very well. But at least they’re keeping the DCT line alive with the Goldwing and a few others.

@@AdonisArias Yes it sure would be nice if manufacturers are sharp enough that they pay attention to what some of their customers and potential customers are saying on social media platforms like this one. I don't know how hard or cost effective it would be for manufacturers to make these changes but in a perfect world a buyer would at least have the option of what they want with some of the more minor changes. I'm sure most people aren't expecting Honda to make any major changes or they wouldn't have bought or even considered buying one of these bikes in the first place. I guess all we can do now is to wait and hope and send Honda a big Thank You if and when they make the changes many of us want.

And with it being a DCT(automatic) you’ll be able to focus on traffic and have much better situational awareness, which was the main reason I went for it. Hope this helps

@@sikguystg ah ok. It’s a year older than mine. I have 170k on my 08. Still going strong. But I’m a very conservative driver. I think that plays a huge role. I barely go above 60mph(65 tops), 99% of my driving is highways miles, and I do my oil changes every 3 months or 5k miles(whichever comes first) and for me it’s the 5k miles, I’m on the road a lot, my commute is 50 miles each way so I’m putting about 550 miles a week on this bad boy. So keep all of that in mind for higher MPG. Be easy on the gas pedal, and try not to accelerate too hard too often, that’ll kill your battery. These cars are not meant for that kind of driving unfortunately. I literally put it on cruise control as soon I get on the freeway and keep it at 60mph the whole time and stay in the right lane. I barely use my brakes, mostly just slow down using cruise control or engine brake(so my brakes will last me a lifetime). Hopefully those tips help bro

Does it come with instructions on how to use it? If so, check those out. I’ve noticed that they work differently. You can also try looking for that specific torque wrench on RUclips and seeing if anyone has instructions on how to use it.

@@AdonisArias revving up my engine at the same time as putting on the break seems like it would hurt the car. and trying to find that sweet spot in the green zone sounds challenging. and not being able to interpret the results... and what to do if a battery block is bad? lots of questions and concerns.

@@mmedeuxchevaux based on the little bit that I know, this won’t do any damage to the hybrid system or engine. This is simply done to fully charge the hybrid battery(which takes a 2-3 minutes or less), and then draining it slowly using the different components that drain down the battery. And if the battery block is completely dead, that would mean it would be time to replace the entire hybrid battery. A company called green bean specializes in the latter. I’ve never heard of someone swapping out just one block, I’m sure it’s possible though. One of my blocks isn’t looking too good(no completely dead yet), so I might be having to swap out the hybrid battery soon. I will definitely post a video on it when it happens. I fully understand where you’re coming from though, I honestly just feel like this is a great way to get more info on the status of the hybrid battery, plain and simple. If you don’t feel up to it, you can always take it to Toyota or a local mechanic and see if they can do an extensive diagnostic, and hopefully they won’t charge you an arm and a leg Hope this helps

@@AdonisArias Thanks. I just paid a local highly rated Prius mechanic for an inspection on the health of the car. He said that there's no way to tell the health of a battery. I'm buying the car from a friend who got a green bean battery two years ago. I got the OBD-II scanner because the car is only getting 32 to 34 MPG. Doesn't seem worth it if I have to soon get yet another battery...

@@mmedeuxchevaux I’m no mechanic, but I’d respectfully disagree about not being able to calculate the battery health. And 32-34mpg sounds pretty low. I wouldn’t buy it

As of now my personal favorites are the beats fit pro. They are $200, sound fantastic, they stay in your ear because of the wing tips, they offer class leading noise cancelling along with transparency mode. That’s the obvious choice for me. The vistas are great also, but I prefer the noise canceling and transparency mode on the beats fit pro. Hope this helps

@@AdonisArias Thank you very much for helping me, the problem is that in a few months I am going to change from ios to android and I don't know if the beat fit pro are worth using android mobile, that's why I have that doubt, because in two months I change to samsung and no I know which one I am going to see the new lg tone 8, jbl reflect flow or vista 2, I imagine that they will all be fine for running

@@ruben7266 either is fine. You can download the Beats app for android and get all of the same features you would on iOS. So need to worry there.
